Australia Stakes Betting

Australia Stakes betting attracts fairly considerable sums of money each year. Because it’s one of only two Group 2 races held during January, a lot of punters turn out for some serious betting action.

As a Moonee Valley race, and the feature event on the race card, Australia Stakes betting tends to cover a lot of bases. The trifecta is a popular one, as is the quinella.

The best Australia Stakes betting tip you can take with you is to focus on quality sprinters. Pick horses who have gone around the 1200m at Moonee Valley in the past, and have preferably been successful.

On the 3rd of November, the 2016 Melbourne Cup races off! Don’t forget to check out the Melbourne Cup Odds & Melbourne Cup Field.
